Nyilvános 1252 | 4917 | Kacorlak | BASIC INFORMATION Accessibility: The village of Kacorlak is located 16 km north of Nagykanizsa, in a rather isolated region of the county. Characteristics: The name of the village was first mentioned in written documents in 1314. In the Middle Ages the village changed hands several times. In 1666 it was declared deserted. The village church was consecrated around 1740. The village has a library. Kacorlak is predominantly agricultural, the main produce being peppers and other vegetables. Sights: The present Roman Catholic Church, a protected building, was constructed in 1875. There are representatives of folk architecture at 27 and 31 Széchenyi Street.
